  1. It looks great and I love the colour on you. I like the idea of a linen look fabric that is really cotton – less creasing I imagine?

  9. Gorgeous! I really like the pattern. The placket and pleat down the front looks great. I had fun trying to think of the limitation with the collar but didn’t see it until you described it after which it was obvious!

    • Thank you and, as I said, I didn’t mind the limitation as I never do the top button up anyway. The pattern has a lot going for it and, although I’ve never made the same thing twice, I am seriously tempted to make another in white for the Summer.

  15. Congratulations on your Minerva post. That’s so cool. The tunic is lovely. I too love pockets in everything. I also enjoy hand sewing and agree that the finishes look nice when those techniques are employed.

  19. I’ve had this pattern in my stash for ages but never fancied making it – until now that is! I adore your version, especially the gorgeous pink colour, it really suits you. You’ve inspired me to have a go at making my own version in linen, I’ve just placed an order for the same pink (hope you don’t mind but it is so pretty), black and a gorgeous deep wine colour – all from Minerva crafts.

  20. Thanks so much for all the detail you put into your posting at Minerva crafts. Wow what a big help this is as I take on this pattern. And plus your precise sewing helps me see what things are really supposed to look like. Thanks again!
