    These are beautiful and how kind of you to take the time to write up a tutorial for us.
    I won’t be making one myself as, once a glass of wine is poured for me, it is rarely out of my hand long enough to need a cover.
    I can see I might use one on a milk jug or similar though so ‘never say never’.

      We probably get more flies than lots of people, living next to a farm, so they’re great for us – especially after discovering a fly in your wine just as you swallow it….you never want to do that a second time, believe me!

    Chiming in with Lynn’s thanks for your thoughtfulness, but a different size of buggy prob, and applicable to anything liquid, solid, or semi.
    Bugs down here start with a no-see-’em variety, which wouldn’t be fazed a bit by this lovely crochet lace. They have absoLUTly no sense of propriety!

    Pretty – but as I’ve already mentioned, no chance of my wine staying in the glass long enough to be bothered by flies 🙂

    These are delightful, you could display them in an embroidery hoop, they would look beautiful grouped together. These really do need good tension and you have really pulled it off! How generous to share your pattern. thank you.
