Thanks Tricia – it keeps it from the bin for a bit longer:)

My goodness – who’d have thunk!! 🙂 To start with the sheer vision of moving the one to the other in your head amazes me. The you actually put it all together. Most impressed Sheila, most impressed!!

Ha ha, no vision really, just the reluctance to add to landfill! I had nothing to lose in chopping up the old jumper which made it easy and the rest just followed. It’s amazing what you can do with a few metres of ribbon and a length of chiffon:)

What a transformation! Quite satisfying to cut up the middle of the jumper I should think – if slightly scary!

Scary, but then you’re committed to doing something – anything – with it. Much better than sitting unused in the back of the wardrobe.

Awesome job! Now it is super cute and does match your personality to a “T”! I love the color too.

It absolutely does match my personality – I’m definitely a pink ruffles kind of girl!

Fantastic transformation. I was scared to death when you showed on Instagram that you were doing up a cashmere jumper but the end result looks amazing. If I find an old jumper in the charity shop I’m coming back to this post!

I wouldn’t chop up a perfectly good Cashmere jumper, but when it’s destined for the bin anyway, you’ve nothing to lose and can experiment a bit.

Wow what a transformation! It looks wonderful and flatters your figure beautifully! Well done! Oddly enough I was given a cashmere jumper to revamp a few weeks ago – just been trying to think of what to do with it!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you and you’re right, it did nothing for my figure beforehand. Add a ruffle and suddenly I’ve got a waist!! Can’t wait to see what you do with your jumper.

I love this, what a great idea instead of throwing a holey jumper away. I love that shade of pink and it suits you well 😊

It’s my favourite shade of pink and I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out. It was a bit of a mystery as I made it up as I went along!

What a fabulous transformation. I love all the finishing details, especially the velvet and buttons. Isn’t nice to breathe new life into an existing piece?

Oh, it really is – there’s something so satisfying about it that makes you love that piece more than a new item.

Absolutely amazing. What a transformation. I love the velvet ribbon. And just when I thought about a sprinkling of beads around the edge, you mentioned sequins. I know it is going to be perfect.

The sequins have just arrived in the post! Must try hard not to go overboard with them though, although half measures are not part of my genetic make up!
