I’ve been enjoying the sneak previews on IG as you’ve been making this and it is great to see the final reveal! You were definitely right to embellish the windows – it has made all the difference! It is fabulous!

Thank you, I’m glad you agree about the windows – I did wonder if I’d gone over the top at first!

I love your version with the ‘lived in’ look.
If I hadn’t already got a cover, I’d have a go at this like a shot. Hmmm… I have got a ‘spare’ sewing machine though. Another project to go on the list perhaps.

I’ve got four more machines (for the sewing school) and my students want me to make covers for them all!

The details were the best part – I had great fun coming up with those! I do love a bit of free machine embroidery:)

Aw, it’s proper cute! I’d want one on my toaster in the kitchen for all to see! Love your free motion appliquΓ©, it really makes it special πβΊοΈ (thought I’d find a caravan emoji but could only find tents!)

On the toaster? Ha ha, good idea for all the appliances, although it would be a shame to put one on my KitchenAid:)

It would, and I could end up with my kitchen looking like a holiday park!

Turned out super cute! I bought fabric for mine and downloaded the free pattern with adjustments so it’s in the queue. I have a sit-down long arm that needs a cover and I’m envisioning one long cover with two campers on each end and a “fire” in the middle…and maybe a couple of lawn chairs? Too fun! Yours looks great! You’d have a whole little caravan going on if all your machines had camper covers. π

I can tell you had great fun making this little project π Love the family and Amber embroidery too, they make it very special, and, the little bunting really finishes it off perfectly ! Great job, can’t wait to see the next four π

I left my comments at Minerva as well. This is the most charming machine cover I’ve ever seen. Beautiful execution of the pattern and lovely personal details, too. Nicely done.
